this is a venture to help an artist keep making

my gallery handles actual artworks like the one in the background here, so if you'd like to buy an actual artwork you may have seen on my artists website or instagram I encourage you to press this button and go talk to them about what's in their digital stockroom and more.

The reason this shop exists, when you can't actually buy an artwork here, is that although I occasionally sell artworks, it's not enough to keep me afloat and making. And it turns out many employers seem to have an ageist gender bias in their hiring policy, and despite mega-skills and oodles of experience, after 2 years since the last, I'm still looking. I'm scared of failing potential patreons and substackers because I'd want to make a regular value-measured commitment but the future is uncertain and I don't want to re-neg even on a soft, one-sided agreement. But making art generates a lot of 'stuff', no matter what kind you make, and I like this 'stuff'. So instead of begging subscriptions, I'm packaging the 'stuff' as lucky dips (and I might sell other things down the track). Consider them a cross between a donation and a patreon account - you're not signing up for anything, it's a one-off payment. BUT - you do get something in return (like a patreon subscription but with no commitment).
